A person who has obtained all my admiration

A person who has obtained all my admiration is the French physicist and engineer Nicolas Leonard Sadi Carnot, the pioneer in the studies of thermodynamics and known as the father of the latter.
He was born in Paris on July 1, 1796. Son of the revolutionary Lazare Carnot, in 1812 he entered the École Politechnique and graduated two years later, where he was driven to the study and construction of steam engines.
Its unique and most important publication was published in 1826 with the title of "The Reflections on the Motive Power of Fire", where it describes the operation of an ideal machine that is in a thermal equilibrium, known as the Carnot heat engine and allows establish the ideas of would give way to the first and second law of thermodynamics. Sadly, he was not recognized by his peers at that time and died thinking that he was a simple steam engine builder, it was years after his ideas were used by Rudolf Clausius and Lord Kelvin to realize the studies of thermodynamics.
The reason why I am so interested in the history of this person is because I am very interested in everything related to thermodynamics and I find it fascinating that just trying to optimize the use of the machines he was able to pose the ideas that would give way to all a new science. After all the studies of thermodynamics allowed us to understand from the spontaneity of a chemical reaction until how the universe works.
